Earn a badge with special theater workshops!

Scout Workshops coincide with productions presented in local theaters. Participants pay a small fee in addition to ticket price to go onstage and get an up-close look at puppets, masks, costumes, props, and scenery before heading up to the rehearsal room for a magic lesson and mask making. This workshop fulfills the requirements for a "Create and Invent" badge: see a performance, make a mask, and create a character!

Scouts may enroll as individuals or along with their troop. Workshop will include:

• Onstage access to see puppets, masks, costumes, props, and scenery up-close
• Access to the rehearsal space where the actors create the show
• Theater games
• Magician's Honor Code
• Magic trick lesson, Performance opportunity (optional)
• Mask Making and Parade of Mask Characters
