Meet the Cast
The Snow Queen runs December 2, 2008 - January 4, 2009, at the Prince Music Theater at 1412 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.
Kate DeRosa (Ensemble) is excited to be performing The Snow Queen again after touring with the production in 2004. Other Enchantment credits include: Pinocchio (National Tour), Beauty and the Beast, and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Kate has performed locally with The McCarter Theatre Center, Mum Puppettheatre, Gas and Electric Arts, Tribe of Fools, and Theatre Ariel, and toured Canada with Totally Realistic Productions' A Woman Like You. Recent roles include Hera in Tribe of Fool's Echo and Eeema in Gas and Electric's Anna Bella Eema. She is a graduate of the University of the Arts, with additional training from The Lecoq Semester Intensive at Naropa University and Dell'Arte Abroad in Bali.
Justin Jain's (Ensemble) regional credits include Arden Theatre Company, InterAct Theatre Company, People's Light and Theatre Company, The Wilma Theater, McCarter Theatre, Mum Puppettheatre, Theatre Horizon, Hotel Obligado, Shakespeare in Clark Park, and several other Philadelphia-based companies. The Snow Queen marks Justin's third collaboration with Enchantment Theatre Company. Recent original work includes Philly Fringe hits The Jersey Devil and The Giant Squid. Justin is a Freedom Rising Company Member at the National Constitution Center and a teaching artist for Philadelphia Young Playwrights, Arden Theatre Company, the University of the Arts, and People's Light and Theatre Company. In 2007 Justin was awarded a theatre residency at the Community Education Center in Philadelphia, where he developed a solo physical theatre piece, Neverboy, in collaboration with Matthew Graham Smith and Adrienne Mackey.
Scott McPheeters (Ensemble) graduated from Dickinson College in 2005 with a BA in Theatre Arts. Since moving to Philadelphia he's worked for companies such as Headlong Dance Theatre, Nichole Canuso Dance Company, Subcircle, Melanie Stewart Dance Theatre, and Hotel Obligado Physical Theatre. He is a currently company member of Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, and BoanDanz Action. McPheeters has also performed in Enchantment's Pinocchio (National Tour), Beauty and the Beast, and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (Symphony Production).
Bradley K. Wrenn (Ensemble) is a Philadelphia based performance artist who trained at Drew University and the British American Drama Academy. He has been working with Enchantment Theatre Company as performer for the past three years.
Stacey Wylie (Ensemble) received her BFA in Theater, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of the Arts and training from the Ecole Jacques Lecoq International School of Theater. Wylie performs year-round with Enchantment and is also Enchantment's Education Director and Lead Teaching Artist. As Dancer/Actress/Teaching Artist/Manager of Educational Programs, Wylie also works with the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Mainstage Center for the Arts, and Dance Incorporated. Other companies Wylie has worked with along the way: 1812 Productions (2007 Barrymore Award Nomination for Excellence in Theatre Education and Community Service), InterAct Theatre Company (2006 Barrymore Award Winner for Excellence in Theatre Education and Community Service), Pig Iron Theatre Company, People's Light and Theatre Company, Arden Theatre Company, and Theater Catalyst.
