Meet the Cast
Terry Brennan (Ensemble) recently completed two years of touring in ETC's production of Harold and the Purple Crayon. Prior to Harold, he portrayed the Skin Horse in two consecutive tours of Enchantment's The Velveteen Rabbit. He is a Philadelphia-based actor and director. Terry runs a small theatre company in Philadelphia called Tribe of Fools (www.tribeoffools.org), for which he recently performed and co-directed/co-created the critically acclaimed Heavy Metal Dance Fag. He also directed Tribe of Fools' Armageddon At The Mushroom Village, a musical satire about war, Smurfs and the end of the world. Terry has also worked for EgoPo Productions, Simpatico Theatre Project, Greenlight Productions, Squid Productions, Philadelphia Children's Theatre, Mum Puppettheatre, and The Nebraska Shakespeare Festival. Zachary Joseph Chiero (Ensemble) is a Philadelphia-based performer and is thrilled to be touring again with Enchantment Theatre Company. Previous Enchantment credits include Harold and the Purple Crayon and Cinderella. Zachary received his B.A. in Theatre from Muhlenberg College. There, he was nominated to compete in the American College Theatre Festival for his performance in the original dance/theatre piece CAW. He also spent a semester abroad studying Theatre Performance and Shakespeare at Goldsmith's College in London. Zachary's favorite theatre credits include Forever Plaid (Francis), Twelfth Night (Toby), A Year with Frog and Toad (Snail) and Big Love (Oed). Other credits include Godspell; Weldon Rising; Monkey in the Middle; Kiss Me, Kate; Fiddler on the Roof and Carousel. He would like to thank Landis, Jennifer, Leslie, the incredible cast, and his family and friends for their love and support.
Colleen Hughes (Sylvester) is delighted to be back on the road with Enchantment! Previously, she appeared as Harold in Harold and the Purple Crayon, the boy in The Velveteen Rabbit and Cinderella in Cinderella. Colleen has performed at the Wilma Theater, and the Academy Theatre, and with Tribe of Fools, Swim Pony Performing Arts, EgoPo Productions, Greenlight Productions, and Ombelico Mask Ensemble. Miranda Libkin (Ensemble) is so excited to be back on stage with Enchantment. She last appeared as the Velveteen Rabbit in The Velveteen Rabbit. Miranda has been a Philadelphia-based performer since graduating from Ithaca College with a major in Acting and a minor in Dance. Some of her favorite roles include Perdita in Winter's Tale, Fern in Charlotte's Web, and Padre Burp in Armageddon at the Mushroom Village with Tribe of Fools. She has worked with Tribe of Fools to help create their last three productions as a performer, collaborator, and choreographer. Miranda sends much thanks to the Enchantment artistic staff, the incredible cast, and her ever-supportive family!
Peter A. Smith (Ensemble) recently toured with Enchantment's Harold and the Purple Crayon. Peter graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Theatre and a double concentration in performance and design. He received additional training in mask work, physical theater, and clowning from an intensive, three-month study abroad program at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. At Muhlenberg, he performed in two world premiere shows, including Henry, an adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry VI. In addition, he received an Irene Ryan award and was nominated to compete in the American College Theatre Festival for his performance in the production of The Other Shore as The Man. He also served two years as the Student Technical Director of all studio productions. He recently co-created and performed in Tribe of Fools' Heavy Metal Dance Fag. Peter would like to thank his family and friends for their continual love and support!
Jesse Kasper (Touring Technical Director) is delighted to be with Enchantment Theatre. You may have seen him along with Cinderella this past December. He was also TD for Harold and the Purple Crayon. Thank you to all his friends and family for their support.
